Just a quick announcement that I will be performing again as part of Gadsby soon.

On 28 March 2010 at around 20:30 UTC+7, we will be at Komunitas Jazz Kemayoran gathering. The venue is Rasuna Epicentrum, Kuningan, Jakarta, Indonesia.

On 2 April 2010 after 21:00, we will be at Margo City, Jl Margonda Raya, Depok, Jawa Barat, Indonesia at their Jazz Evening.

After days without Internet access, now here I am blogging again. So, what’s up?

Wednesday last week, 10 March, I had a gig with Gadsby (trio format for the first two tunes: Yugo Isal, Bowie, and myself, and minus Bowie for the rest) and also presented my computer science work at the University Indonesia’s Faculty of Computer Science seminar hall. The audience was amazing. I really enjoyed my time there. I’ll post some videos of the event upon my return to Australia.

This Friday, 19 March, at 17–19 WIB (UTC+7), I’ll have a gig again with Gadsby, i.e. Yugo, Bowie, Shuhud Tjia, Arianto Surojo, and myself, accompanied by OSUI Mahawaditra. We’ll play Always and Forever by Pat Metheny and my A Wish for the Better. The venue is Gedung IX Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Indonesia (University of Indonesia’s Faculty of Letters, Building IX).

Later in the evening, at 21 WIB, Gadsby will perform at Margo City, Jl Raya Margonda #358, Depok, West Java, Indonesia. We will do our “main duty” as a Pat Metheny cover band.
